Mrs. Owens
A little about me, my name is Jody Owens I feel I was born to teach kids, I look forward to coming to school each and every day. Kids simply make me smile! Why social studies? I always want to know more, so I decided the best thing to do is to become a Social Studies teacher!I have the best of both worlds teaching kids, and learning and teaching history. I am constantly researching things and excited to learn and discover about the world around us. I have a passion for teaching and kids. It is my absolute desire to meet the emotional and educational needs of each child I teach.
Outside of my love for students and education I am a wife and a mother. I also enjoy running, training for marathons, weightlifting, and playing with my dogs Lucy and Sonny. I enjoy life, and treasure each and every day!
